ClearNote Campus Fellowship Staff

Andrew & Kaitlyn Henry

Andrew and Kaitlyn both graduated from Indiana University with degrees in Viola Performance. Weird, right?

Together they've been serving CNCF since 2008. Andrew currently coordinates men's discipleship and oversees sound & music at the Fold. Kaitlyn serves in women's discipleship.

Andrew is a jack-of-all-trades that builds custom guitars and custom furniture, paints houses (recreationally), plays everything from lead guitar to mandolin to fiddle in funky rock bands, and teaches Latin and other fun subjects for a home-schooling co-op (in his spare time). Kaitlyn enjoys making fun of how weird her husband is and kissing on Evelyn, their sweet baby girl.

Braden & Sarah Gogel

Braden graduated from Indiana University in the Spring of 2009 with a degree in Tourism Management and an ultra-nerdy interest in community development. His wife, Sarah, graduated in the Spring of 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education.

They started working with CNCF in the Summer of 2009. Together they coordinate discipleship groups for all students living in South Campus (Forest, Read, Willkie). Braden also handles the big-time administrative details on all our retreats and mission trips.

Together Braden and Sarah make an awesome team in ministry. And an awesome team in Settlers of Catan. But shhh!--don't tell anyone. That game is kind of embarrassing to be awesome at.

Forest Gafford

Forest graduated from Cincinnatti Christian University in 2009 and moved to Bloomington to attend ClearNote Pastors College, where he's currently in his second year.

Forest began serving with CNCF in the Spring of 2010. He currently oversees all our efforts at outreach and evangelism and helps coordinate discipleship in North Campus (Briscoe, McNutt, Foster, Collins).

An avid adventurist, Forest revels in getting lost in the woods. He considers himself a modern day Lewis & Clark, really. Yes, both of them. At the same time.

Jake & Amanda Mentzel

Jake graduated from Indiana University in the Spring of 2006 with a degree in Religious Studies and married Amanda in the Spring of 2007. He graduated from the ClearNote Pastors College in the Spring in 2010 with a degree in Biblical Shepherding.

Jake and Amanda have worked with CNCF since 2007. Jake has served as Campus Director since the Fall of 2008 and his responsibilities include overseeing all of CNCF's various forms of discipleship. He is also the regular Bible teacher at the Fold. Amanda oversees all areas of women's discipleship.

Amanda loves to be crafty. She's so good she makes Martha Stewart look like the lady at your VBS craft table when you were in 3rd grade. Jake isn't much good at anything, but he loves to pretend he used to be really awesome at baseball. Like all would-be-has-beens, he has twelve injury stories that explain why he never made it to the Show.

Together they have two sweet kids, Peter and Lucy. Peter (age 2) is currently preparing to try out for the Indianapolis Indians next Spring.

Kelly Steinmetz

Kelly graduated from Truman State University in the spring of 2004 with a mathematics degree and came to Bloomington the following fall to do graduate work. She earned her masters degree in the spring of 2006 and went on to do post-graduate work at IU until she was offered an Assistant Professorship at Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington.

Kelly is new to CNCF leadership this fall and is very excited to be serving in the area of women's discipleship. Among other things, Kelly will be hosting and leading a women's d-group.

[Insert cheesy joke about Kelly being a math-nerd. And yes, she could probably tutor you if you need help.]

Lane Bowman

Lane graduated from Indiana University in 2005 with degrees in both Religious Studies and Sociology. He graduated from ClearNote Pastors College in the Spring of 2010 with a degree in Biblical Shepherding.

Lane has worked with CNCF since the Fall of 2007. He currently oversees our campus meeting, the Fold, and coordinates Central Campus discipleship (Wright, Teter, Ashton, Eigenmann).

If Jesus hadn't intervened in his life and called him to full-time ministry, Lane probably would have tried to be a professional fisherman.

Mike Lockett

Mike graduated from IUPUI in 2008 and currently works for UITS at Indiana University. During his time at IUPUI Mike worked with Campus Outreach, a church-based campus ministry with a growing influence around the country.

Mike joined CNCF during the summer of 2009. He serves as a North Campus (Briscoe, McNutt, Foster, Collins) discipleship coordinator and he provides us with some serious tech support.

Mike loves Jesus, college students, hoops, and hip-hop. If you see him around, ask him to rap for you. No, seriously. Do it.

Paul & Jessica Belcher

Paul graduated from Indiana University in 2008 with degrees in Communication & Culture and Religious Studies. He is currently in his second year at ClearNote Pastors College. Jessica graduated from IPFW in 2008 with a degree in Psychology.

Paul and Jessica began serving with CNCF in the Spring of 2010. Together they serve the campus by ministering to IU's diverse international student population.

Paul loves soccer and thinks that he's a grand-master in Japanese Jujitsu and Jessica enjoys making the best chocolate chip cookies on the planet. Together they have a daughter, Adali, and another munchkin due in February 2011.
