A Letter to Parents and Youth Pastors

Dear Parents and Pastors,

First of all, let me tell you how happy I am that you're reading this. We're always grateful for parents, pastors, and youth pastors that are concerned about the spiritual welfare of their children and students. So we praise God for you.

We want you to know that we're not just here for your students. We're here to serve you. We want to partner with you in shepherding them through the tough times of college. We want them to be strong, godly witnesses during their years of college, and we want to prepare them for life after college—marriage and kids and careers.

You've taken care of them their whole lives. And now you're entrusting them to us during what will likely be some of the most difficult and important years of their lives. We don't take that responsibility or that trust lightly. And we don't take for granted all of the love, sweat, tears, and more that you've poured into your students their entire lives.

We'd love to have a good relationship with you. So we cordially invite you to visit us in Bloomington at any time and to set up an appointment to meet with one of our staff or one of the pastors of our church. Come visit any time. Or give our church office a call if you ever have any questions.

We promise to do our best to cultivate godly character in your students. We promise to do everything within our power to see them grow in their love for Jesus and for God's Word. To that end, we will push them, challenge them, encourage, rebuke, and discipline them as our own sons and daughters.
