Retreat Theme: Living Coram Deo

Coram Deo. It's a really old phrase that was once used to describe the Christian life. Literally, it means, "Before the face of God."

It was meant to bring to mind images of Moses standing before God on the mountain in the midst of lightning and thunder.

Or of the seraphim that Isaiah saw flying in the blazing presence of God, ceaselessly calling to one another, “Holy! Holy! Holy!”

Enoch walked Coram Deo and was no more. God took him.

The Bible teaches us that we are to live our lives in response to the awesome, all-consuming reality of God.

In God’s presence. Under God’s authority. For God’s glory. Always. That is the essence of the Christian life.

Join us on September 25th & 26th as we seek to grow in our relationship with Jesus and in our fellowship with one another—as we learn what it means to live our lives Coram Deo.

Registration is $20 for freshmen and $30 for everybody else. Bring cash or a check to the Fold this Tuesday.
